China’s first self-developed F-class 50 MW heavy-duty gas turbine, developed by DEC, was successfully connected to the grid and entered commercial operation in Qingyuan, South China’s Guangdong province, on Jan 3.
Heavy-duty gas turbines are core equipment for power plants. The turbine, with a capacity of 50 megawatts, indicates a scientific and technological breakthrough in the heavy gas turbine field in China.
