The construction of the Almaty CHP-2 plant in Kazakhstan, undertaken by DEC, has started this week.
The 600 MW power plant will cut CO2 emissions by about 3 million metric tons a year, a reduction of around 56%. It is set to drive the green energy transition, improve the environment, and boost sustainable growth in the local economy.
