Following the success of the 80t high-speed balancing test station of China Chang Jiang Energy Corp. (CCJEC), the first turnkey project in the field of vacuum chamber test station in a real sense, China Machinery International Engineering Design & Research Institute (CMIE) won the bid for another turnkey project in the business field, namely the turnkey project of large-scale vacuum chamber high-speed test station of Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd.

The success comes from the good reputation gained from and excellent product test results and steady operation of the CCJEC project. By relying on its successful experience accumulated from the CCJEC project, long-term tracking of and in-depth technical exchanges on this project and strong technical service capabilities, the equipment and automation institute gained recognition from the owner and beat all other big-name competitors in the open bid. As a crucial part of the whole project, the vacuum anti-explosion cabin steel structural system has an immediate impact on the project. Therefore, we have collected and collated relevant technical information and made some attempts and improvements on the basis of the original drawings of Schenck Process GmbH. For example, in order to raise the test precision of the system, improve the design of the rear wallboards, shorten the distance between the rear wallboards and the tested rotor and simplify the process of transition disk, we designed three functions on-site sensor interlocking, manual operation and automatic detection on the driving system for rotor torque limitation so as to ensure safety of the tested products to the greatest extent.

This project is a full-lifecycle turnkey project integrating engineering design, equipment manufacturing, installation, adjustment, commissioning and delivery, marking another victory of CMIE in the new business area of test station.
