The two units of Vietnam Vinh Tan I (2 x 620 MW) Coal Fired Power Project were successfully passed 168 hours reliability test run on 20th October, 2018. All systems of the plant are stably operated, and the main test parameters are able to be in accordance with the contract, specifications and design requirements.
The 2# unit of Vinh Tan I Project completed the reliability test run at 8:00 am on October 13, 2018. Then two units started their reliability test runs at 10:00 am and passed the test successfully.
Vinh Tan I Project is located in Bình Thuan Province of Vietnam. It is the largest under-construction plant invested by Chinese enterprises in Vietnam. And it is also a major project under «One Belt and One Road» Initiative. Moreover, it’s the key project for China and Vietnam governments to promote infrastructure, production capacity cooperation and connectivity. It will be great helpful to relief power shortage in southern Vietnam when it final completed and will tremendously accelerate the local economy at the same time. DEC supplied the main BTG equipment (boiler, steam turbine and generator) for this project.
